Lucy leads a secluded life without TV, radio, and mobile phone on the outskirts of Vienna. Her daily routine merges into preparations for the Vienna Regenbogen (Rainbow) Ball.

There, Lucy presents one of her legendary inaugural addresses, expressing an explicit socially critical statement with a borderline sense of humour.

For one day, the photographer Jana Madzigon becomes Lucy’s shadow and voyeur.

The transformation from an allotment housewife to the iconic figure of the subculture in Vienna develops in form of a gradual, subtle process which does not remain superficial, in contrast to customary stereotypes.
