Portfolio: Love Letters

I have always felt the deep connection with the sky and the stars. And I believe, that love stays longer and touches us after we believe it ended.
This series happen as I was exploring how to combine feelings of love and memory. When I was photographing I was remembering all the moments of love I experienced and the moments when someone made me feel special, touched my soul.
The series was made with a digital camera, and was not manipulated or edited in any manner.

Iris Cara was born in Maribor, Slovenia in 1984. She studied photography in Paris at Speos and in Sežana, and at Višja Strokovna šola Srečka Kosovela. Iris has participated in more than 20 group and 10 solo exhibitions. She founded and directed “The Gallery”, in Maribor in 2013 to present.
