Brose\u2019s most recent film, <a href=\"http:\/\/vasa-project.com\/video\/buffalo\/brose.html\"><em>De Profundis <\/em><\/a>has been greeted with critical acclaim and has been screened at more than eighty venues and festivals worldwide since its release.\u00a0\u00a0 <em>De Pofundis <\/em>is a 65-minute experimental film based on Oscar Wilde\u2019s prison letter with an original score for the film by the American composer Frederic Rzewski.\u00a0 In 1989 he began a series of film collaborations with contemporary composers to explore the relationship between the moving image and music.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/lawrence.brose\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lawrence Brose (Facebook)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the final thread in the theme addressing \u201cCan an artist create their own unique language?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I wish to thank the six contributors for their insights, perspectives and thoughtful reflections.
