To convey details &#8220;texture&#8221; of the barricades built of all that came to hand &#8211; bags, debris, boards, fragments of furniture and even cars &#8211; and its extent, the photographer made a lot of individual images, which are then glued into a panorama. Barricade) is a handmade barrier fortification built with construction debris, wood, furniture, barrels, boxes, concrete blocks or cars. Barricades are most often constructed in a narrow section of the road or street and used as shields from the attacking opponents or as fighting positions in street fights. On February 20, the protesters rebuilt it after a counterattack, now with road tiles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>About Julia Polunina-But<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Born in 1985 in Simferopol, Crimea, Ukraine, which is occupied now by Russia. Artist. Engaged in photography since 2012. Lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. Member of Ukrainian Photographic Alternative (UPHA) and the group \u00abL\u221eK\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Julia won the Grand Prix in Ukrainian Photographer of the Year-2014 with her work &#8220;Barricade&#8221;. She also released a book with the same name, Leporello length of 4 meters, which was her debut.
